I began planning weddings in 1994 while working full time as a graphic designer in Minneapolis. (Though if you ask my friends, they will say I had been planning weddings since high school!) 10 years later, I am so blessed to have my full time career be my passion—weddings.

I began Weddings by Nancy LLC with the sole purpose of helping brides and grooms plan the wedding of their dreams without the added stress that so often overtakes the planning. I want them to enjoy themselves. After all, it is the first "official" day of the rest of their lives together. Why shouldn't it be the most beautiful, fun, and memorable day ever?

I belong to the Association of Bridal Consultants and have earned the designation of Professional Bridal Consultant™. When you work with me, you are working with a professional, who takes your wedding seriously. All of the weddings I work on are completely different from each other. I think that is what I love most about planning and designing weddings—the variety. Its your day, not mine and I get to recreate the wheel every time I work with and meet a new bride and groom.
